Terms and Conditions CuraVilla, Jan Sofat 9 Curaçao.

Accommodation and facilities

The accommodation to be rented:

-          The villa is suitable for 6 persons. Children up to 2 years old may sleep free of charge in a cot (if available) with the parents in the same bedroom.

-          4 apartments each apartment for 2 persons

Guests of the villa or apartments have the use of the swimming pool, deck chairs, pool deck as well as the barbeque in the garden. The safety of the client and all of his/her co-occupants and visitors remains the responsibility of the client. The owners of the villa/apartments do not accept any responsibility and liabilities for any accidents or damages which occur in the swimming pool, terrace, pool deck or barbeque. Diving in the swimming pool is prohibited as well as barbequing on the pool deck and terrace. Visitors with children are responsible for the safety of their children

-                A washing machine is available for guests of the villa and apartments.

-                The villa and apartments have the facility for wireless internet. Upon arrival, if  desired a log in code will be given.

Prices

-          All prices are in euros.

-          On the website www.curavilla.com you can find an up to date price list.

-          The price of final cleaning of the villa is € 80,- based on a stay of two persons. For each additional person € 10,- extra will be charged. The price for final cleaning of the apartments is € 60,-. These costs will be included in the total sum and should be paid in advance.

-          A security deposit for the villa for up to two persons is € 350,-. For two persons extra an additional € 100,- will be charged. The security deposit for the apartments will be € 250,-. The security deposit should be paid in cash, at arrival to the keeper. If the occupants cause any damage to the villa, apartments or its inventory, this damage will be charged to the client. Any costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

The electricity costs will be deducted from the security deposit as well. The security deposit will be refunded at departure.

-          The use of water is based on normal usage. Electricty will be charged at € 0,38 per Kwh.

-         CuraVilla may change the prices without prior notice. Naturally this does not apply to existing bookings.

Reservations and Payment

After reservations have been made the client will receive by e-mail an invoice. A down payment of 50% of the total rental sum must be paid within 8 days. After receipt of the down payment the reservation is final. Payment implies that the client agrees with the terms and conditions. If the down payment has not been received within the agreed timescale the reservation is no longer valid.

The remainder of the payment including the costs of the final cleaning  must be paid within 6 weeks before the first day of the stay at CuraVilla.

After receipt of the total rental sum the client will receive by e-mail a voucher with the information on the reservation. The voucher will state the number of people the reservation has been made for. The number people may not exceed the number on the voucher without notifying the manager.

Option

After the owners and clients have agreed on the conditions there is a possibility to take an option of 5 days to enable the clients to book flights. During the period of 5 days the villa or apartment will not be let. If desired we can help you make flight reservations.

Arrival, departure and minimum stay

Arrival is possible on any day of the week. During the Christmas season there is a minimum stay of 14 nights. The arrival is on a Wednesday or Sunday prior to Christmas.

The client can check in on the day of arrival anytime after 16.00 pm. Check out time on the day of departure at 12.00 noon. Should check out time be later arrangements can be made with the manager on site. There will be an additional charge of € 50,- .

Cancellation

In urgent cases the client may cancel the reservation, change or suggest an other client. CuraVilla must at all times be informed by writing.

Cancellation costs are:

.           50% of the total rental sum will be charged should cancellation be more than 50 days before arrival

.           the total fee will be charged should cancellation be less than 50 days before arrival

.           in case of appointing a different guest or change of date a charge of € 65,- will be brought into account

.           we advise you to conclude a cancellation insurance

Management

CuraVilla has a Manager on site. The Manager will receive the guests at the airport and escort the guests to the villa or apartment. The costs for transportation from the airport to your villa/apartment should be settled with the Manager. The meters will be checked at the beginning of your stay. Should there be any problems or questions you can always contact the Manager. The Manager will arrange a time on the day of departure to make a final check.

Water usage

As water is scarce and expensive in Curaçao, CuraVilla has chosen their water supply by means of their own deep-well. This deep-well provides all the water points in the villa or apartments. The kitchen water supply is connected with the main water supply. Although the water from the deep-well is checked on a monthly basis and is of good quality we advise you only to use the water from the kitchen taps as drinking water.

Cleaning

The villa and apartments are cleaned once a week. Twice a week a week there will be a change of towels. Should the client wish for a more frequent use of our cleaning staff then this can be arranged. There will be extra charge.

Damage to the villa/apartment or its assets

If the client or the co-occupants cause any damage to the villa, apartments or its inventory, this damage will be charged. Any damages should be reported immediately or before departure to the Manager. The costs will be deducted from the security deposit. Damages up to € 25,- which have been reported will not be charged.

Miscellaneous

• Although your stay is in a guarded area we advise you not to leave any valuable possessions, papers etc. unattended in the villa or apartments.
• Both villa and apartments have a safe to secure your valuables. Management cannot be held responsible for theft, burglary or missing items.
• We will do our best to make sure that maintenance to the buildings will not occur during the stay of our guests. Should the situation occur that maintenance is necessary during your stay then we will try not to make any disturbance. Maintenance during your stay does not give the client the right for a refund.
• It is not allowed for the guests to organise parties on the premises. After 21.00 pm it is desired that there will be no more noise on the premises.
• Children under the age of 18 years may not stay unattended by adults in the villa of apartments
• It is strictly forbidden to use narcotics on the premises.
• Smoking is only allowed on the terraces of the villa and apartments. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside.
• Jan Sofat is a guarded area with a guarded entrance. On arrival the guest will receive an Entry Pass. This Pass is strictly personal and may not be given to a third party.

This Pass should be shown each time you pass the security. If you expect visitors you are obliged to inform security. Please mention the name your guest and the address you are staying, for example Jan Sofat 9 Villa.
